Andrea Rothman is a former research scientist and a fiction writer. While working at The Rockefeller University she was awarded two grants from the NIH to study the Sense of Smell. Her science-based debut novel, The DNA of You and Me, was published by Harpercollins in 2019, the paperback edition in 2020. Andrea holds an MFA in creative writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives with her husband and children and a dog called Pepper in Long Island, New York.
