Vivan Amin

Vivan Amin is an accomplished Aerospace and Technology executive with over 15 years of experience in the Aerospace, Defense and Technology industry. Most recently serving as the Director of AI for Microsoft’s Autonomous Systems team, Vivan played a pivotal role in driving the expansion of strategic initiatives for autonomous systems in the aerial and space domain with a keen focus on multi-domain operations, Vivan has been instrumental in exploring innovative AI applications for autonomous systems that are poised to revolutionize the industry.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Vivan held several senior leadership positions at leading Aerospace organizations, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon Technologies. He recently founded AerOrbit Intelligence, LLC, a business consultancy for AI-enabled Autonomous vehicles in aerial, space, and maritime domain. Throughout his career, Vivan has demonstrated a strong track record of success in driving operational efficiency and improving team outcomes through leveraging technology. He expanded operations in fourteen countries across five continents. He is highly skilled in augmented intelligence (human-AI teaming), program-product management, global supply chain and has a proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders utilizing his technical background as a systems engineer.

As an avid learner, Vivan has an educational background that includes executive programs at University of California – Berkeley in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cybersecurity Leadership. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

Outside of work, Vivan enjoys exploring new cultures, AI for healthcare, astronomy, volunteering with local charities and learning to play golf. His commitment to excellence in all aspects of his life makes him a true leader in the global aerospace and technology community.
