Rich LaMonica

Rich LaMonica is a 22-year veteran of the United States Army, where he served multiple deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Throughout his distinguished military career, Rich evolved into a seasoned leader, guided by the mentorship of great leaders who taught him the importance of taking care of people. His experiences on and off the battlefield shaped his deep understanding of resilience, mindset, and grit—qualities he now imparts to others through his work.

Rich is the author of the award-winning self-help book, "13 Step Guide to Success," and the gripping fiction novel, "Out of The Darkness." After retiring from the military in 2015, Rich spent a pivotal year reflecting on his journey as he transitioned back into civilian life. This period of self-discovery and adaptation equipped him with invaluable lessons that now fuel his passion for helping fellow veterans navigate their own transitions and overcome life's obstacles.

Today, Rich is a sought-after motivational speaker who inspires audiences with his insights on mindset, resilience, and finding one's purpose, no matter the challenges faced. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Homeland Security from Liberty University, further solidifying his expertise in the field. Rich also serves as the Executive Producer and host of The MisFitNation Podcast, where he continues to motivate and educate listeners through engaging and thought-provoking discussions.

Beyond his professional achievements, Rich has been happily married to his best friend, Gwen, for 30 years. Together, they are proud parents to their daughter, Lexie, a successful fitness leader. Rich is also a devoted dad to his four beloved four-legged children: Scooter, Enzo, Yogi, and Ziva. Rich's life is a testament to his motto, "Challenge Accepted," as he approaches every endeavor with unwavering determination and purpose.
