Mentors Change Lives
Mentors Change the World
Since 2019, The Mentor Project™, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, has been on a mission to create a global mentoring movement.
Today, over 100,000 students in the US, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East use our free digital resources and online engagement opportunities that grant them access to some of the world’s top mentors and help them to bring their STEAM projects and goals to life in ways that are meaningful, impactful, engaging and powerful for students and mentors alike.
Join us in helping the world to become a better place, one mentor, one mentee, at a time.
Our mentors are experts in science, technology, engineering, the arts, mathematics, business, and law. TMP mentors share their skills and knowledge to inspire and guide their mentees around the globe in classrooms, community settings, online, via hackathons, television productions and podcasts. We currently have 90+ mentors from the USA, Argentina, Kenya, Nigeria, Israel and Siberia.
Plus an additional 40,000+ through a partnership with education partners
A Story of Success
In 2021, one of our mentees, 16-year-old Ethan “Eitan” Gotian, reached out to our mentors with a belief that we could do better science and engineering if we had the opportunity to engage in informal conversations. He was right!
With the guidance of TMP mentors Bob Cousins and Dr. Charles Camarda, Ethan engaged in collaboration with partners at his school leading to two inventions. He wrote about this collaboration and pitched an article idea to Nature. They liked it, and after working with the editors, he published his first article in Nature. Take a look here.
“Thank you to The Mentor Project and its incredible mentors for teaching me that it’s ok to do things differently and to never be afraid to try new things. Now I own two patents!”
